Alexander Group PLC is Northern Greece's leading property developer and manager focused equally on the residential and office real estate market.
History
The Group was founded in 1945 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Its principal aim was to provide a full range of constructing services in the field of general engineering. The company has carried out a large number of public sector projects and helped in the reconstruction of Greece.
Our Activities
Development and Planning
Land constitutes the 'raw material' for our sector. The Group carefully selects the land plots in which it invests, having thoroughly analysed the broader commercial environment, city planning, public transportation access, and the legal and administrative provisions for the area. The acquisition of plots takes place on land that meets all the appropriate internal requirements.
Constructions
Airports, large commercial and residential buildings, roads-bridges, harbour works, precast structures, industrial engineering works, irrigation and water supply works.
Corporate Strategy
Alexander Group PLC strategy is to maintain its leading position in the North Greece's domestic residential and commercial real-estate market. In the coming years our Group plans to continue developing and retaining prime building complexes along Thessaloniki's arterial roads.
Our Group is also entering other high growth markets such as the vacation home market and the retail market.
The retail real estate market is an area in which our Group foresees future growth opportunities. Greece has one of the most underdeveloped shopping centre markets in the EU, with only 20sqm of space per 1,000 inhabitants compared to a EU average of 150 sqm.
Our Group also intends to enter the vacation home market. The success of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games has raised the country’s profile as a major tourist destination, and as a result foreign demand for vacation homes in Greece is expected to increase. Moreover, domestic demand for locations within close proximity to Athens is expected to increase as access has been facilitated by recent improvements in infrastructure. Alexander Group PLC intends to construct tourist developments, initially within easy reach of Thessaloniki on both mainland Greece and the islands. Currently the Group is planning to enter the growing vacation home market with a large-scale development on Diaporos Island. The land plot to be developed is 20,200 sqm.
Future
The Company continually examines opportunities in other countries since 1945 the company had presence and projects in Libya, UK and Cyprus. Currently the Group examines opportunities in Dubai (A.E) and in Eastern Europe and India.
Going Public
The Group is preparing its introduction on the Plus Market in London. The company appointed Axiom Capital LTD as a Corporate Advisor for the flotation process.

ALEXANDROS S.A. is a subsidiary of Alexander Group PLC, specialized in constructions and sales of luxury residences and buildings.
The Company's main concern is buildings' safety and construction's excellent quality, taking into account, in cooperation also with the team of architects and civil engineers of our company, the modern anti-seismic laws of the Greek State and careful choice of the most modern and quality materials.
We cooperate with the best and most recognized suppliers and manufacturers of materials from Greece and Europe, with guaranteed and tested materials, but also with parties fully trained in the domain.
The constant briefing of the company's manpower in the domain of constructions and construction materials constitutes a guarantee for every project we undertake, with credibility and conformity to construction's timetables.
